STUDENT ACCIDENT INSURANCE
NCPS students are automatically covered under an accident insurance policy that covers injuries during the school day and during school sponsored activities, including athletics, at no cost to NCPS families.
Parents can expand this to a 24-hour policy to provide coverage for their student when they are not at school or a school sponsored activity. See below for claim forms and other information on this policy, including forms for expanding this coverage into a 24-hour policy.
Please note that in accordance with Federal Law, the Gallagher student accident insurance policy offered is considered a secondary coverage policy. If medical attention is necessary, parents should provide the medical provider(s) with the student's regular insurance card. Claims for amounts not paid by the student's regular insurance policy should then be forwarded to Gallagher along with the claim form for approval and processing.
